Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 August 2026. By creating an account or using Wildwatch, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Wildwatch provides a wildlife-intelligence application that organizes trail-camera photos and derives species, scoring, and activity information. The web application is available now; the iPhone application is in testing and offered as-is during that period.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by uploading content you have no right to use, attempting to access other customers' data, disrupting the service, or using it for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to wildlife monitoring on the land you manage.

4. Your content and license

You retain ownership of the images and data you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload them. You grant Wildwatch a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide and operate the service for you (for example, to detect animals, classify species, estimate scores, and build your property record). We do not use your uploaded images to train our machine-learning models except with your consent, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. AI outputs and scoring limitations

Wildwatch's outputs are automated estimates and may be incorrect. Species, sex, and score results are provided for informational purposes with confidence indicators, and the system may abstain when evidence is insufficient. Trophy scores are non-official estimates generated from photos and are not certified measurements or official entries. Forecast guidance is probabilistic and does not guarantee animal behavior, location, or outcomes. You are responsible for decisions you make using the service.

6. Beta and mobile testing

The iPhone application is distributed via Apple TestFlight and may be incomplete, change, or contain defects. Access is granted progressively; joining the mobile list does not guarantee access.

7. Subscriptions, trial, and fees

Wildwatch is a paid annual subscription product. New accounts may begin with a trial (currently 30 days or 5,000 wildlife images analyzed, whichever comes first); continued processing of new images requires a paid subscription. Current plans, annual processing allowances, and prices are shown on our Pricing page and may change with notice. Additional processing capacity may be purchased for the current subscription term; there is no automatic overage billing.

Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. The specific terms that apply to your subscription — including renewal, cancellation timing, refunds, and any payment-method requirement — are presented to you at the time of purchase and govern that purchase.

When a subscription ends or is cancelled, your existing records remain available in a read-only state and are not immediately deleted; new processing pauses until you resubscribe, add capacity, or move up a plan.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any warranty that outputs are accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wildwatch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves; we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
