Scoring
Whitetail scoring, on frames that earn it.
Wildwatch runs a real scoring pipeline against eligible whitetail images. It checks eligibility first, shows the frame it used and its confidence, and abstains when the evidence is not strong enough. It is built to be honest before it is impressive.
Eligibility first
Not every photo is a scoreable frame.
A quartering-away buck, a blurred flank at 60 feet, or a partial antler behind brush is a sighting — not a measurement. Eligibility is checked before scoring, so a number only appears when the frame can support one.
- Species and sex are confirmed before a whitetail frame is scored
- Frames are checked for the view and clarity scoring needs
- The source frame stays attached to the result you review
- Ineligible frames are kept as sightings, not forced into a score
The states you'll see
Clear labels instead of a forced number.
Illustrative states — not measured results
What a score is — and isn't
Decision support, not a certified entry.
Wildwatch produces Boone & Crockett-style estimates from photographs. They help you evaluate and prioritize animals across your property. They are not official scores and do not replace certified, in-hand measurement where an official entry matters.
- Estimates are generated from images, with confidence shown
- They support field decisions; they are not official measurements
- You keep or reject every result — the review is yours
- For an official entry, use a certified scorer and in-hand measurement
Broader exotic measurement and scoring is in development. Whitetail is the supported scoring capability today. We would rather ship one species we trust than a table of numbers we can't stand behind — additional species are added only when they meet that bar.
